Serving the greater Tampa metro area, Pivot Charter School, Hillsborough County is a Florida public school with an innovative site-based approach to high quality education. Pivot Charter School offers blended approach to education with a small student: teacher ratio.
Each student receives an educational program to meet their individual needs and styles of learning. We enable students to successfully complete their requirements, graduate on-time, and move into the next stages of either career or college life. Pivot Charter School also allows students to attend school on-site for a shorter amount of time each day than traditional schools.
Students receive one-on-one attention from Highly Qualified, Florida-certified teachers, and have access to career and college planning counseling.
State of the Art Learning Centers
At our state-of-the-art Learning Center in Tampa, students engage in a rigorous standards-based curriculum in blended courses. Our curriculum is nationally and regionally-recognized and includes Advanced Placement® courses, Dual Enrollment and Service Learning. Pivot Charter School is a nationally recognized accredited middle and high school through AdvancED.
Pivot offers flexibility in scheduling classes and hours. Families can choose from our morning or afternoon sessions. Morning session is from 7:50AM to 1:25PM while afternoon session goes from 9:34AM to 3:10PM.
Students will work in their coursework on-site at one of the state-of-the-art Learning Centers for five and one-half hours per day, receiving assistance and instruction from both the online and on-site teachers. Students may also engage in small-group instruction, one-on-one tutoring, or other activities during their time at school.
